Two weeks ago, the Boquete area of Panama, where our farming families live and work, was hit by heavy rains and flooding. Rivers overflowed their banks, paths washed away and parts of coffee farms were flooded.

The damage is great, even for the always resilient people there.
They know what it means to work with nature - this is coming in hard.

What it will mean for the upcoming harvest is still a question, but we want to share this with you. Because Specialty Coffee is not just about taste, but about connection, respect and perseverance.

Farmer Ricardo Koyner informed us that at least 25% of his crop was lost. From the Hartmann family, we have not yet received an exact update. As soon as we know more, we will be happy to share it with you so that you not only taste the coffee, but also understand what's behind it.

We remain in contact with our farmers in Panama and hope that recovery is successful so they can continue their wonderful work.
