A refreshing infusion that is delicious both hot and cold. Nana Mint, also called Aarmint or Mentha spicata, has the typical menthol or spearmint aroma that sets it apart from other mint varieties. Its bright green leaves and lilac flowers make it a beautiful addition to fragrant gardens.
This mint variety is a variety of Moroccan mint and is often used in the famous Moroccan mint tea. Add green tea, plenty of sugar and mint for authentic flavor, and pour the tea from high to create a frothy layer.
Nana Mint is also perfect for lemon lemonade, (virgin) mojitos, or as an addition to dishes such as salads, tabouleh, couscous, and watermelon salad with feta. Also delicious in a dip of yogurt or labneh with cucumber and garlic.
Note: dried mint is more potent in flavor than fresh mint, so use less!
