Product Information
Wuyuan Jasmin tea has a delicate jasmine fragrance and a delicate floral flavor with fresh jasmine notes. The base is Chun Mee tea with slightly curled leaves. The tea gets its fragrance by placing a layer of jasmine blossoms over the dried tea leaves, which are replaced with fresh flowers after a few hours. This process is repeated up to seven times. For 50 kilograms of tea, 150 kilograms of blossoms are used. After the process, the flowers are removed to prevent a bitter taste, making this tea more expensive than variants with artificial flavors.
