How it works.
Fill the lower part of the espresso jug with hot water up to the valve. Place the funnel in the water and fill it with a slightly coarsely ground espresso coffee (grind 6) up to the indicated rim. Divide the coffee evenly with a measuring spoon or spoon. Make sure the thread/rim coffee is clear. Place the top part on the espresso pitcher and screw both parts together tightly. Now heat the espresso pitcher on the smallest burner of a gas, electric or ceramic stove. Never use the full flame, but better 50% of it. As the water boils, the vapor pushes the water through the tube of the funnel and through the coffee. You can now turn back the heat source slightly. The water should not remain at a boil. If you heat the espresso pitcher at a lower temperature, the coffee will be fuller in flavor! Remove the espresso pitcher from the heat once the coffee has run through to the upper part. When the steam comes out of the jug more irregularly the coffee is ready.

CAUTION!
Espresso jugs cannot go into the dishwasher. Therefore, do not clean the espresso jug with detergent but rinse it thoroughly with warm water.
