How time flies, it's already November! The days are getting shorter and the temperature is starting to drop. In the morning I put on my winter coat and gloves and cycle towards BOOT Koffie in Baarn. Time for a new working day: making people happy with our delicious coffee. It's cold on the bike, so I long for a cup of coffee to warm up myself.

For me, there is one coffee that suits this time of year perfectly: the Indonesia Java Blawan Espresso. This coffee has rich, warm notes of speculoos, almond paste and is spicy in flavor. The flavors I associate with autumn and the holidays to come. I think Sinterklaas thinks exactly the same way, but we'll ask him on Nov. 23 when he arrives back in Baarn.

Our Java Blawan is not a coffee to drink quickly on the way to work; this coffee deserves a quiet moment. For example, brew the coffee as an intense americano in your favorite mug, listen to your favorite LP, grab a good book or watch outside as the leaves fall from the trees.
