BOOT COFFEE IS NUMBER 1!

Boot Koffie has received the first prize "Best Coffee" in the Misset Horeca Coffee Top 100 (2018). This Coffee Top 100 Coffee Test is the only comprehensive coffee test among 200 catering establishments that takes place annually! We are very proud that the Boot quality is widely recognized. A hearty applause for everyone who contributed to this!

In addition to the number 1 prize, Boot Koffie has been awarded another top 10 spot. Coffee and wine bar Talud9 from Utrecht came in 6th this year. It's great that they know how to prepare our coffee with so much love and passion. Congratulations Wouter and Lies, and also to the coffee makers of Espressobar Gutenberg in Utrecht, our congratulations on your great place.

With 45 years of knowledge and experience in roasting the very best coffees from all over the world, our coffee has not only a great story but also a fantastic taste! Since 1973, Boot Koffie has been striving together with the coffee farmer to create pure, excellent quality coffee. Coffee farmer Hartmann and his family recently celebrated more than 20 years of friendship and cooperation with us. Their coffee was served during the Misset coffee test.

Since 1973, we have selected our coffee from the best plantations around the world and ensured that the coffee farmer receives a fair price for his coffee. 1st place Boot Koffie
Boot Koffie, found at Het Lokaal in Amersfoort (where our coffee roastery is also located) as well as in the center of Baarn, where it all began. During the Misset coffee test, Dennis van Zal served coffee from the Panama Hartmann plantation as espresso, cappuccino and filter coffee. During a visit to Boot Koffie in June, the Hartmann family was able to launch their own coffee during our 45th anniversary celebration. This amazing "natural coffee" has the most extraordinary flavors. The judges tasted almond liqueur, smoky whiskey, strawberries, cherries, blackberries and marzipan. As a cappuccino, the Panama Birdsong from the Hartmann plantation was poured, showcasing the beautiful notes of full-bodied caramel, cocoa bitters and cassis berry, and a licorice aftertaste. The Local is a spectacular venue that you really should visit. Only locally grown and produced products are offered. If you open the entrance door, heavenly scents of freshly baked bread and freshly roasted coffee meet you. On Wednesday and Thursday mornings you can also experience live - roasting of Boot coffee. Baker Elsenburg and Sebastiani received two first prizes in Holland this summer for their amazing breads. So your visit here has a fat chance of succeeding!

6th place - Talud9 - Coffee & Wine
In 2017 the cozy Talud9 with Wouter Verwer got 2nd place in the Top 100 for the second time with BOOT's coffee and was again the best coffee bar in the province of Utrecht. This year they are already in the top 10 in the Netherlands. Congratulations! Talud9 has already won many awards. They are exceptionally good at presenting BOOT coffee products. Talud9 now pours the Panama Birdsong Espresso, the Pride of Thailand cappuccino and filter Panama Hartmann. They also have great wines. If you are in Utrecht and close to the Dom Tower, visit Talud9 for delicious coffee and wine, a good breakfast, artisanal sweets, a tasty lunch and an extensive snack menu. Highly recommended!

78th place - Gutenberg
Espressobar Gutenberg in Utrecht is a household name on the University grounds of the Uithof in Utrecht. This espresso bar has been serving BOOT coffee for many years and serves Boot specials in addition to the blend. It is the best place to take a break between lectures (and during lectures). We are super proud that they manage to keep students awake with their beautiful coffees. They are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm.
