The price of coffee is currently higher than ever. To make sure our farmers continue to get a fair price AND we can continue to offer you the best quality coffee, we will adjust our prices starting April 8, 2025.

At BOOT Coffee, we deliberately wait to adjust prices until we know the actual purchase prices, in direct contact with our collaborations, with a focus on fair price, quality and sustainability. Fair for us means that the price is adjusted in direct contact and with an eye for the bigger picture, with our collaborations. This year we see an increase of 25% on average. We do not pass that on in full. The price per kilo is going up 9% on average, which is about 3 cents per cup.

What's going on?

- Climate change: Drought and extreme weather conditions are reducing crop yields. In Panama, harvests are as much as 60% lower than normal.
- Higher production costs: Farmers are paying more for labor, fertilizers and sustainable cultivation. Because yes, working sustainably means investing more
- Currency exchange rates: We pay more for the same amount of coffee.
- Transportation costs: Longer shipping routes, container shortages and higher fuel costs - transporting coffee has become more expensive everywhere.
