Two restaurants, two chefs, two coffee roasters and one plant-based menu with coffee. Restaurants Het Lokaal together with Boot Koffie from Amersfoort and Capriole Café from The Hague are joining forces. They will do this from November 9 to 12 during the Top Two Coffee Dinner.

An idea that originated back in 2018 during the last edition of the Misset Koffie Top 100. Boot Koffie won gold along with Het Lokaal, Capriole Café went home with silver. But not only coffee is what binds these two restaurants. Delicious and plant-based dining in a place where guests feel at home. Capriole Café is in an old paint factory with its own coffee roastery. Het Lokaal was once a glue and soap factory with the coffee roaster at Boot Koffie under the same roof. So many similarities, that should be celebrated.

Culinary vegan five-course dinnerIn
the second week of November, the owners, kitchen staff, waiters and baristas swap places partly to work together. They are doing this with a special vegan five-course dinner in which coffee plays the main role and is incorporated into every course. Sometimes clearly recognizable, sometimes as a unique flavor enhancer. In addition, they put each other's (award-winning) coffee on the grinder during that week. An optimal and unique moment to taste the Top-2 coffee of the Netherlands.

The Top Two Coffee Dinner costs 45 euros per person and will be served from Nov. 9 to 12 at Het Lokaal and Capriole Café. Reservations can be made at www.hetlokaal.nl (Amersfoort) and www.capriolecafe.nl (The Hague).
